I can see all my networks' devices (10.0.0.7, 10.0.0.9, etc.) but there's also unrecognized IPs in there. I see around 7 IPs within the 172.16.0.0 — 172.24.0. 0 space. I try pinging them and it works. Two or three of them are running IIS webserver. The issue will occur when the network drive is mapped by a non-elevated user account or application (ei. I can't reproduce this behavior, but off hand I would guess that using the --full-index and --binary options for git diff might help. I'm assuming those hashes are either commit ID's, or appropriate tree ID's; and my guess is that you just have content that messes up a basic diff (as far as being able to create an applicable patch); but none of the combinations I tried got this exact symptom
Mar 19, 2019 · Unrecognized device sending traffic on local network I made some wireshark captures of local network traffic and noticed a significant amount of traffic coming from an ip address I don't recognize. The ip address in question is 192.168.1.1.
Jun 26, 2020 · Granting full permissions to all users on the network share may help resolve the “Unrecognized Database Format, the database is corrupt or in an inconsistent state”. If the issue is still not resolved, assign Local Admin rights to all the users on that server.

If you still have no idea what those devices are, it makes sense to change your WiFi password in your router to stop them using your network. If you can see a computer under the Shared section, then it is on YOUR network. So if it really is a computer in the neighborhood, then they are using your network to get on the Internet, and possibly your other computers. Is your wifi secure?
