SurfEasy’s features page only mentions “bank-grade encryption,” which is a little ambiguous. Still, we know it should mean they’re using 256-bit AES VPN encryption – but are they? I'm not familiar with Surfeasy but you might want to configure it to make sure it does not route the local traffic on 127.0.0.1 to the VPN network. The 1Password extension communicates with 1Password Helper on your PC via a local port, so if your VPN extension carries that local traffic over its VPN network, that'd explain why it stops working
