WAN IP should be a public IP address. The WAN IP is assigned dynamically by ISP. If the WAN IP address of the router is not a public IP address, but a private IP address, that means there is another NAT device connected to the WAN port of the router. Serial (COM) Ports are detected by Windows and there are no conflicts, but the foot pedal still does not work. There may be a problem with the serial port itself. If it's not, then you have a double NAT issue. But if you have the same IP and still not opening the ports, you may try to check it directly to the modem. When I open the game application, it automatically opens the ports the app requires (7171 an 7172) and after 5 minutes, port 7171 closes by itself, then after 50 minutes it would randomly open.
